Terms of use

These Terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile game Praline Paradise published under the brand NextBestGame (the “Game”), available on Android via Google Play, as well as this website and related content (together, the “Services”).

The Game and this website are provided by media nova Verlag GmbH (“we”, “us”, or “our”), Weinzierlstrasse 13, 84036 Landshut, Germany.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Game or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must comply with all applicable laws to use the Services. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country, you may use the Game only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Game is not directed at children under 13.

2. License to use the Game

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Game, except where permitted by law
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law
  • Use the Game for unlawful purposes

3. Advertisements

The Game contains advertisements, including personalized ads and optional rewarded ads you may choose to watch for extra rewards.

We use third-party advertising services in the Game, including ironSource and Google (Google Play Services, Google Ads). These parties may process device identifiers, IP address, or usage data in line with their own privacy policies. You can manage personalized advertising in the Game under Settings → Privacy & Legal → Manage consent → Do not consent.

This website does not show those in-game ads.

4. In-app purchases

Optional in-app purchases are handled by Google Play only. We do not process payments ourselves and are not responsible for checkout issues handled by Google.

Purchases are final except where applicable law (including consumer law of the EU or Germany) requires otherwise. Every level can be completed without a purchase.

5. Intellectual property

All rights in the Game and this website, including graphics, audio, code, designs, trademarks, and logos, are owned by or licensed to media nova Verlag GmbH.

NextBestGame is a trademark licensed by media nova Verlag GmbH. Unauthorized use of that intellectual property is not allowed.

6. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or hacks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Game or related systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game or related systems

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free or uninterrupted, that it will meet every expectation, or that every defect will be corrected. Mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.

8. Limitation of liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual duty, and then limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Your remedy for dissatisfaction with the Game, beyond those mandatory rights, is to stop using it.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Game if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Game. Upon termination, the license ends.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms. The version published on this website applies from the time it is posted. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
